Pressure-resistant, glow-wire-tested professional polyurethane foam - Fischer

High-performance professional polyurethane foam

The professional polyurethane foam PU T 750, produced by Fischer, is the ideal solution for applications requiring pressure resistance, high insulation capacity and versatility in support materials. Tested according to the Glow Wire Test and classified B2 in accordance with DIN 4102-1, this foam guarantees optimal performance in various construction and industrial fields.

Main advantages and characteristics:

  • Resistant to water pressure up to 0.5 bar.
  • High density and excellent resistance to compression, ensuring stability and durability over time.
  • Controlled expansion, ideal for filling deep cavities without the risk of lifting materials such as tiles and bent tiles.
  • Excellent adhesion to multiple surfaces, including metals, concrete, wood, plasterboard, masonry, stone and anodized materials.
  • Good chemical resistance and thermal insulation capacity, perfect for use in roofing and environments exposed to atmospheric agents.
  • The cured foam can be easily cut, sawn, filed, painted and plastered, offering maximum flexibility in application.
  • Free from CFC and H-CFC, it guarantees a more sustainable and environmentally safe use.
  • Fix Adapter resealable in the manual version, which allows immediate use and reuse of opened cylinders for greater convenience.

Main applications:

  • Quick fixing of tiles and roof tiles without the need for drilling, reducing installation times and costs compared to traditional systems (screws, mortar or clips).
  • Filling of joints between the rings of the wells and sealing of elements in sewage treatment systems and tanks.
  • Insulation and sealing of cavities between windows and walls, connections between walls and finishing elements.
  • Assembly of electrical boxes and filling of spaces between insulating panels.
  • Not suitable for use on surfaces in neoprene or bituminous materials.

Compatible materials:

  • Concrete
  • Metals (including anodized)
  • Masonry
  • Wood
  • Plasterboard
  • Stone
  • Some types of plastic (excluding PE, PP, Teflon and silicone)

Application method:

  • Surface preparation:
  • Clean the surfaces by removing dirt, dust, oil and grease.
  • For porous materials, it is recommended to grind or sandblast to improve adhesion.
  • Preparation of the can:
  • Shake vigorously to at least 20 seconds.
  • For use with a dispenser, screw the valve onto the fischer PUPN 1 or PUPM 3.

Application:

  • Wet the surfaces with water spray to promote expansion and adhesion.
  • Apply the foam from the bottom up, filling the cavities up to 50-60% of their volume.
  • For multi-layer applications, moisten each layer before proceeding with the next.

Cleaning:

  • Remove fresh foam with fischer PUR cleaner or acetone.
  • Once hardened, removal can only be done with tools mechanics.

Storage:

  • After use, place the can upright and close the dispensing tube to preserve functionality.
  • Protect the cured foam from prolonged exposure to UV rays.

Superior performance and sustainability:

Compared to traditional fastening methods, PU T 750 polyurethane foam allows you to optimize working times, avoid drilling and reduce the permanent load applied to structures. Its controlled expansion ensures precise fastening without deforming adjacent materials. The foam is also ideal for thermal insulation and sealing critical points in the construction industry.
